A full drum kit costs hundreds of dollars, takes up a corner of a room, and terrifies the neighbors. It is also completely unnecessary for regulation practice.

Tier 0: free, today

Tier 1: about $55

A practice pad and a pair of sticks give you rebound: the spring that makes rhythm feel like rhythm. This is the tier we recommend. The exact pad and sticks we use are on the Get Started page.

Tier 2: the kit you already own

If a kit already lives in your house, every pattern video toggles to a full-kit version. Headphones solve the volume problem.
